I lost reverse gear out on the water due to frayed cable sheathing. I removed the old and ordered new boat steering cable. I was a little concerned as it was slightly longer than my old one but all went in well and working. The cable was easy to install at its endpoints. It is a great value, but only time will tell the tale of its durability.
